Dirt on the touch
buttons

Unplug the cooking hob
from the mains.

Absorb the spill.

Clean the touch control
area with a clean, damp
sponge or cloth.

Dry the area completely
with a paper towel.

Reconnect the hob to
the mains if you wish to
continue using it.
The hob may beep and turn off, and
the touch buttons may not work
while liquid is on them.
Make sure you dry the touch control
area before switching the hob back
on.

The hob does
not turn on.
There is no power
supply
Make sure that the hob is connected to the mains
and that it is on.
Check if there has been a power failure. After
these inspections, if the problem persists,
contact the Technical Support Service.
Touch buttons
do not work.
The buttons are
locked.
Unlock the buttons. Check the ‘Buttons lock’
section for instructions.
It is difficult to
use the touch
buttons.
There may be a slight
film of water on
the buttons or you
may be using your
fingertip to press the
buttons.
Make sure the touch control area is dry and use
your finger base to press the buttons.
The glass is
damaged.
Cookware with
rough edges. Use of
inappropriate and
abrasive scouring
pads or cleaning
products.
Use cookware with flat and smooth bases. Check
the ‘Selection of the suitable cookware’ section.
Read the ‘Cleaning and maintenance’ section.
