TECHNICAL DATA
SYMPTOMS OF “CO” POISONING
Following symptoms are related to carbon monoxide poisoning:
>
35 PPM - the maximum concentration allowed for an adult being continuously exposed for 8 hours.
>
200 PPM - light headache, light-headedness, fatigue after 2-3 hours.
>
400 PPM - frontal headache in 1-2 hours, life-threatening after 3 hours.
>
800 PPM - dizziness, nausea and convulsions within 45 minutes. Loss of consciousness within 2 hours. Death after
3 hours.
>
1600 PPM - headache, dizziness and nausea within 20 minutes. Death within 1 hour.
WARNING:
A high concentration of following substances can irreparably damage the sensor:
methane, propane, isopropyl butane, ethylene, ethyl acetate, ethanol, alcohol, benzene, hydrogen,
hydrogen sulphate, etc.
Even solvents, hair sprays, perfumes, detergents and cleaning products can cause false alarms.
