9.1.3 Troubleshooting

During the update process, if the screen turns

RED

at

any point after the BLUE screen has been shown, this

means that there were problems reading the information on the USB Stick. If this happens, the software update

has not been applied. If this issue persists, please see the

Recovery Update Procedure

section.

Note:

Some USB Sticks are not compatible with the unit. If the update does not install properly, please try a

USB Stick from a different manufacturer. We have tested the procedure with all available USB Stick

models from SanDisk and have found that all work without issues.

9.1.4 Recovery Update Procedure

Make sure the unit is fully disconnected from power, and then insert the USB Stick into the USB Port. Supply

power while simultaneously holding down button 1 and button 5 (see the

section). The screen will

turn BLUE and after a few seconds the update process will begin. There will be on-screen information during the

update process. Please remove the USB Stick when prompted and the target unit will automatically reboot into

the new software.
