Firmware Update

The CP800 introduces the ability to update the application firmware using a USB drive. The panel’s USB port

can be accessed by simply removing the four front faceplate screws. The USB port location is protected by a

water-tight rubber plug, as shown below.

9.1 Updating via USB Drive

9.1.1 Preparation

Extract all of the files contained in the USB Update Package (.zip) file to the root (top level) of an empty USB

Stick which is formatted with FAT32.

9.1.2 Procedure

Verify that the unit is turned on. Insert the USB Stick into the USB Port of the unit and the update process will

begin. There will be on-screen information during the update process.

The update process may take up to

30 minutes to complete.

Please remove the USB Stick when prompted and the unit will automatically reboot into the new software.
