2) Position the second short curve (code 40A) on the adjacent pipe, in the
opposite direction.
While still holding the stainless steel pipe with a pair of pliers, tighten the
two nuts and check that the two curves cover an angle of 110°
when rotating and cross in the central part.
The proper movement of the two curves is described in the following figure.
Hydraulic connection and maintenance
Pipes coming from the pump must be connected directly to the supplied
revolving square unions (code M300).
Periodically grease the inside of the revolving square union (preferably with
Teflon grease). In order to disassemble the square union, remove the Seger
ring on the top.
