3) INTENDED USE
The power inverter is intended to convert 12V DC voltage into 230V 50Hz ~AC voltage and/or 5V
500mA voltage (USB).
Always check the continuous output power and maximum ( Troubleshooting, page 52).
This power inverter can be used with the following types of electrical external appliances:

• Connect to 12V socket with at least 15A • Connect to 6V, 24V or 230V socket
• Standard external appliances such as
laptop, computers, MP3 player, PDA‘s
or battery charger for mobile phones,
computers
• External appliances that produce heat:
hairdryers, electric blankets, coffee
machines, microwaves and toasters
• Total power rating < 120W • Total power rating > 120W
4) TECHNICAL FEATURES
The power inverter has some technical features available to safe itself and/or the external
appliances.
Feature Description
• Over-voltage protection 1. If the input voltage is above 15.5V (±0.5V), a buzzer
sounds, red LED indicator (4) lights up, and LED
display (2) shows

. The power inverter stops
the power inversion and the external appliance
switches off.
If the voltage decreases below 14.5V (±0.5V), power
inverter resumes to normal operation.

1. If the input voltage is below 11V (±0.5V), a beep
sounds, red LED indicator (4) lights up, and LED
display (2) shows

2. If the input voltage is below 10.5V (±0.5V), a buzzer
sounds, red LED indicator (4) lights up, and LED
display (2) shows P-3 . The power inverter stops
the power inversion and the external appliance
switches off.
3. If the input voltage increases above 12V (±0.5V) the
power inverter resumes to normal operation.
