1) SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Warning!
Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire, serious
injury and damage to property. Keep this manual somewhere where you can access
them whenever you or other persons need to.
Always secure electrical cables firmly.
Never use the cable for carrying or pulling the device. Damaged cables increase the risk of
electric shock.
Only unplug the appliances from the voltage source pulling on the plug, not by the cable.
Always disconnect the device by pulling the 12V plug, but never by pulling the connection cable
itself.
If cables are to be routed through sharp-edged walls, e.g. metal walls, use empty tubes or cables
ducts to avoid damaging the cables.
Do not route 230V main cables and 12V/24 DC cables in the same empty tube (cable duct).
Damaged cables must be replaced immediately.
Route the electrical cable so that it is not possible to trip over them and to prevent them being
damaged.
Do not install cables close to conductive materials. Do not fold and protect from damage.
Maintenance work must be done by qualified electricians.
Always disconnect the cable to the 12V input voltage when you are not using the power inverter.
Make sure the device is always placed in a secure location. Do not expose the power inverter to
rain or wet conditions. Water entering electric devices will increase the risk of electric shock.
Ensure that all plugs and supply cables are free from moisture. Never switch on the power
inverter with moist or wet hands.
Only operate the device when the supply cable and housing are free of damage.
Keep the power inverter away from children. Children do not understand or recognize possible
risks of handling electrical devices.
Never create a short circuit or bridge on the inputs and outputs of the power inverter using
foreign objects. Only use protective contact plugs or spade connectors to connect external
appliances to the output sockets.
Even if the built-in fuse triggers some parts of the devices will still remain under load.
Carefully choose a location for the power inverter.
