Ensure that the arms are securely locked in place: push/pull the arms until you hear a
click and the position is locked.
Lock the wheels by pushing the red button (9) on each wheel.

Never insert your hands or fingers under the steering wheel as gears are accessible and
they can get trapped and injured.

There is a potential risk of fingers being trapped between the upper and lower sections
of the Pedestal. When the Camera is being lowered and particularly when pressurized
air is released; do not insert fingers into this area at such time.
Fix the pan & tilt Fluid Head directly on the top of the Pedestal or – if needed – by using one of the ac-
cessories (see 2.2 Compatible equipment – Optional accessories) and secure the 4 (four) retaining bolts
underneath the steering wheel with the Allen key.
Place the Camera on the pan & tilt Fluid Head and add all necessary
additional equipment (lens, prompter, viewfinder, pan bars, etc).
Place some 2 or 3 trim counterweights on the steering wheel plaque.
Release the safety latch (26).
