6 . 4 M OUNTI NG THE P ADDLE
The paddle can be mounted either as a single-blade or double-blade paddle. Read the following chapters for more.

Exercise caution when assembling the paddle, there is a pinching hazard. Be mindful of your
fingers when pressing in the lock pin.
6 . 4 . 1 M OUNTI NG THE P ADDLE AS A SI NG LE - B LADE P ADDLE
1. Insert the connecting tube into the paddle blade with opening by pressing in the lock pin before letting it engage in
the opening on the paddle blade (see Fig. H).
2. Insert the T tube into the connecting tube and slide the T tube to the desired length (see Fig. H).
If you wish to use the board standing up, proceed as follows to set the paddle length: Stretch one arm
upward while standing. You should be able to easily grip the knob on the T tube.
3. Fasten the T tube to the desired position using the locking lever (see Fig. I). Make sure that the knob on the T tube
is parallel to the surface of the paddle blade.
Do not pull the T tube past the “STOP” marking to ensure the paddle is stable. The marking may not be
visible.
6 . 4 . 2 M OUNTI NG THE P ADDLE AS A DOUB LE - B LADE P ADDLE
1. Insert the connecting tube into the paddle blade with opening by pressing in the lock pin before letting it engage in
the opening on the paddle blade (see Fig. J).
2. Insert the paddle blade with no opening as far as possible into the connecting tube (see Fig. J).
3. Fasten the paddle blade with no opening by tightening the locking lever (see Fig. K). Make sure that the paddle
blades align.
