TRACK TENSIONING

•

The tracks are tensioned by adding
grease to the tensioning cylinder. This is
accomplished by using a standard hand
operated grease gun. Each track has a
grease fitting located beneath a cover
cap on the side of the track. Remove the
cap to access the tensioning grease
fitting. Install grease into the tensioning
fitting using a standard hand operated
grease gun. It should only take a few
pumps of grease to tension the tracks.

•

On the top of the track frame there is an
opening in which a washer and socket
head cap screw can be felt and examined
by hand. At right are pictures showing
the location of this slot.

•

Check the track tension using your hand
to reach in this slot and gauge the
distance between the washer and plate.
