Press the
Spray
button to spray water on the fabric.
It may be used during steam and dry ironing.
To avoid staining, do not use the spray on silk or synthetics,
and be very carefully when you iron delicate fabrics.
For spray and shot of steam functions to operate, the
water reservoir
must be at least one-
quarter full. If these features stop working, stand the iron on its heel and fill the
water reservoir
.
Self-Cleaning
The self-cleaning feature cleans inside the plate,
removing impurities. We recommend using it every
10-15days.
Plug the iron into the mains socket.

and

Unplug the iron once the
•
Temperature Indicator
goes off, press and hold the
Self Clean
button
immediately. Water will drain out with the
impurities.
Release the
•
Self Clean
button. Slightly tilt the iron to drain the water out.
Plug the iron into the mains socket again. Set the highest setting on the
•
Temperature
Dial
and iron on a damp cloth to remove any deposits on the soleplate.
During ironing:
In between operations and when filling the iron always stand the
iron on its heel. NEVER leave the iron face down.
After you have finished ironing:
Switch the iron off at the mains socket and unplug.
Stand the iron on its heel and let the iron completely cool down.
When the iron is cool:
Open the
Water Filler & Cap
, invert the iron and pour away the
excess water from the water reservoir. When pouring away the
water, gently shake the iron to remove any loose particles from the
reservoir.
Roll the mains cable around the iron before storage.
