It is possible to use the 5-point harnes for a child weighing 15-25 kg when the seat is installed with the 3-point car
seat belts and the TopTether system.
Follow the steps described in point 10 and install the seat with 3-point car seat belts.
Adjust the TopTether strap length with the tensioner (G-1).
Attach the TopTether latch onto the TopTether fixing point in your car. (G-2).
Tighten the TopTether strap by pulling its end. The strap must be tightened so, that the indicator on the tensioner
turns from red to green (G-3).
To secure the child with the 5-point harness, follow the steps described in point 9.
INSTALLATION FOR GROUP II, III (15-36 kg) WITH 3-POINT CAR SEAT BELTS
Before the installation, dismantle the 5-point harness (see point 14).
Adjust the headrest to the height of the child (see point 7).
(OPTIONALLY) Fasten the car seat with the ISOFIX latches (see point 8). This may improve the stability of the seat
in the car.
Place the child in the seat. Guide the car belts in front of the child (H-1). Fasten the belt tongue in the belt buckle
and align the lap part of the belt on the lower belt guides between the seat and the backrest (H-2, H-3).
Take the diagonal belt and slide it through the belt guide in the headrest, on the side of the car belt tensioner. Make
sure the belt is put correctly inside the belt guide and is not twisted (H-4).
Tighten the belts by pulling the diagonal part in the direction of the car belt tensioner. Make sure the diagonal belt
goes through the middle of the child’s shoulder. If the belt is too close to the child’s neck, adjust the height of the
headrest (see point 7).
UNINSTALLING THE SEAT
To uninstall the seat fastened with ISOFIX and TopTether, begin with pressing the buttons on the sides of the
ISOFIX latches to disengage the locks.
Loosen the TopTether strap and detatch it from the fixing point.
Remove the car seat and push the ISOFIX latches back into the seat shell.
REMOVING THE 5-POINT SEAT BELTS
Begin with loosening the 5-point harness as much as possible, by pressing the button in the front of the seat and
pulling the shoulder belts (I-1).
Pull the belt adjustment lever at the back of the seat and set the harness in the highest position available (I-2).
Remove the tips of the shoulder belts from the metal anchor (I-3) and put the anchor in the storage compartment
(I-4).
Remove the loops of the shoulder belt pads from the rods on the sides of the adjustment lever (I-5).
Pull the shoulder belts in front of the seat to remove them from the slots (I-6).
Press the red button on the belt buckle and remove the belt tongue from the buckle (I-7).
Pull the middle part of the upholstery and unfasten the snap buttons (I-8).
Push the lap belts into the slots under the upholstery (I-9).
Join back the two upholstery parts with the snap buttons (I-10).
Pull the seat tilt lever and set the seat in the most reclined position (I-11).
Find the metal plate under the seat. Pull it and rotate it by 90° and pull it from the upper side of the seat through the
slot in the seat (I-12).
To install the harness back, follow the above instructions in reversed order.
