Acquiring a 3D Multi-Volume Image (Stitching) for Adult and Pediatric Patients

3. When is green, press and hold the exposure button until the end of the second
region of interest acquisition. The turns yellow, indicating X-ray emission. The
image appears in the Preview Screen .
4. If you have selected the “full arch” mode, the rotative arm is automatically positioned
for the third region of interest acquisition. When is green, press and hold the
exposure button until the end. When the acquisition ends, the 3D Acquisition
window disappears.
5. Open the temple supports and release the patient while waiting for the 3D image
reconstruction. Remove the dental impression paste from the bite block and sterilize
for the next patient.
6. Wait for 1 to 2 minutes for multiple volume 3D (stitching) reconstruction. Open the
3D Imaging window and in the pane, click to access the patient’s
record. The Patient History dialog box is displayed.
7. The multi-volume (stitching) reconstructed image is identified by Vol_STITCH_N° . The
N° is the multi-volume counter for the number of multi-volume images acquired for this
patient. You can identify the desired reconstructed image by the date and the time of
acquisition.
