7.12 ADAPTER PARTS 

 
1. Clean and inspect stub shaft, clutch 
driving drum. Check splines for chips, deep 
grooves or wear. Replace parts as 
necessary. 
 
2. Remove oil dam adapter and inspect 
labyrinth oil seal on inside diameter. Repair 
or replace as necessary (wear or damage to
