Now, you can choose if this Soundbox 3 should be placed on the left or the right side. If this Soundbox 3 should be placed on the left side,
choose [MFL]. To place it on the right side select [MFR] using the "+" or "-" key. (MFR = Master Front Right). Regardless of the position,
this Soundbox 3 is defined as "Master" speaker.

To pair slave speakers, press the Play/Pause button " ".

Use the "+ " or "-" button to select the speaker you want to pair. The following channels are available: [FL]=front left;
[FR]= front right; [SUB] = Subwoofer.
Note:
If you have chosen [MFL] for the Master speaker, you should choose [FR] for the slave speaker.
Note:
Before starting the pairing process, the speaker to be paired (slave speaker) must have been disconnected from the mains for at least 30 seconds.

Now press the Play/Pause button " " button. The display should show [PIR].

Connect the (slave) speaker you want to pair to the mains. Turn it on when it is in standby mode.
Note:
The maximum time between pressing the Play/Pause button " " button and switching on the slave speaker is 30 seconds.

Approx 10 – 20 seconds after switching on the slave speaker the displays should show "connected" [CON].

If [FAI] appears in the display, repeat steps 6 to 8 and make sure that...
a.) the desired slave speaker was disconnected from the mains for at least 30 seconds.
b.) no more than 30 seconds have passed between pressing the Play/Pause button " " button and switching on the slave speaker.
c.) the distance between the two speakers do not exceed 10 m and they are in the same room.
Caution:
If you have completed the above steps successfully, please do not repeat them with the soundbox 3 switched of. This will automatically
designate a new Master speaker and would prevent the previous slave speakers from connecting to the previously designated master speaker.
