Videk DocuVision Edge
•
An in-line camera inspection system for document integrity and print run
assurance.
•
The Videk DocuVision Edge performs a full-page scan providing multiple
points of verification on the document, including reading barcodes, MICR
lines, and logos, to help ensure the accuracy, accountability, and security
of every job.
•
The DocuVision Edge system offers the following benefits:
•
Print validation - detect duplicate or missing checks; validate MICR
lines
•
Feed assurance – read a pre-printed stock identifier and match it to a
printed job identifier
•
Document tracking - track every document through the print process
to increase overall production intelligence, meet regulatory
requirements and protect personal information
•
Log export & reporting - produce reports and export job data including
key metrics such as job start time, duration, total number of checks,
total amount run and missing/duplicates
•
The DocuVision Edge camera is mounted in-line after the VarioPRINT
6000 TITAN Series and ahead of finishing equipment via ICMU (Integrated
Camera Mounting Unit). The in-line camera inspection system images one
side of an entire page, either top or bottom.
•
The DocuVision Edge requires the ICMU-B1 and Copy Control Interface
(VP6000).
•
Videk Inc. will provide installation and training at each customer
installation. Videk can train up to two (2) dealer technicians and up to two
customer operators during the installation/training.
