Press the Maintenance button.

Press the (right) button twice.
The icon is displayed.

Press the Print button.
Print head cleaning starts. When cleaning ends,
the icon
appears.

Press the Maintenance button.

Print the nozzle check pattern, and
check that the pattern is printed
correctly.

If there is no improvement, repeat print
head cleaning up to three times.

If there is still no improvement, perform
print head deep cleaning.

Cleaning the Print Head
Clean the print head if a nozzle in the print head becomes clogged. Perform print head
cleaning only when necessary because the operation consumes a lot of ink.

Note
You can also perform print head cleaning by pressing the Reset button on the printer.
Follow the procedure below.

Check that the printer is on.

Keep the Reset button pressed down, and release it when the power
lamp blinks once.
