Note

Before turning off the power 

If you are using Windows XP or Windows
2000, the computer recognizes the printer as a
removable disk that is connected with a USB.
Therefore, to turn off the printer while you are
using the computer, you must perform the
hardware removal operation on the computer.
See the Windows user’s guide for the removal
operation.
