Remedy
Disconnect the connector J4
of the fixing heater, and turn
ON the power switch while
holding down the service
mode switch to reset the
error code. Then, check
service mode 108 for an
error description. See the
appropriate section.
Connect the power plug.
Close the door and the
cover.
Advise the user that the
problem is not of the
machine’s.
Go to step 7.
Remove the cause that blew
the fuse or that turned OFF
the circuit breaker; then,
replace the fuse or turn ON
the circuit breaker.
Replace the noise filter PCB.
Replace the door switch
(DS1).
Correct the wiring.
Check the connection of the
connector J307 on the DC
controller PCB; if normal,
replace the DC controller
PCB.
End.
Replace the DC controller
PCB.
15
AC power is absent.
Checks
When the power switch is turned ON,
is the E code indicated and is the
power switch turned OFF within about
2 sec?
Is the power plug connected to the
power outlet?
Are the front door and the delivery
cover closed securely?
Is the rated voltage present at the
power outlet?
Is the rated voltage present between
J1-1 and J1-2? (J1 is the 2-pin con-
nector mounted on the power cord
connector.)
Is the circuit breaker on the noise filter
PCB OFF? (Use a meter.)
Is the rated voltage present between
J13-1 and J13-2? (J13 is the relay
connector found between the noise
filter PCB and the door switch assem-
bly.)
Remove the door switch (DS1), and
connect the probes of the meter to F1
and F2 or F3 and F4 on the door
switch faston, and press the actuator.
Is the resistance about 0 ý when the
actuator is pressed and × ý when
released?
Is the wiring from the door switch to
the composite power supply PCB
normal?
Is there electrical continuity between
J5-1 on the composite power supply
PCB and J307-14 on the DC controller
PCB?
Replace the control panel. Is the
problem corrected?
