B. Lower Feeding Assembly
1. Outline
In two-sided copying mode, the copier performs continuous copying using its set-
back mechanism and the lower feeder flapper.
The set-back mechanism serves to stack sheets of copy paper in the lower feeding
assembly in a staggered pattern, thereby preventing double feeding within a limited
space.
The set-back mechanism is used for the following conditions:
(1) Copy Paper Size
A3 (11” x 17”) to B5 (STMT)
(2) Number of Sheets (stack)
20 sheets : A4, LTR, G-LTR, K-LGL, B5, A5, STMT
1 sheet
