D. Charging Assembly

1. Removing the Primary Charging Assembly
1) Remove the drum unit.

Take care not to expose the drum unit to light after taking it out of the copier.
Exposure to light for some time will cause copies with white spots or black bands.

2) Disengage the hook

, and remove the primary charging assembly

to the front from the drum unit.
