Additional Functions

Cleaning Display for the Original Scanning Area

Enables you to set the machine to display a message prompting you to clean the original

scanning area for the feeder, when dirt has been detected.

Erase Remaining Toner Error Message

Enables you to erase the Remaining Toner Error Message screen which is displayed when

the remaining toner is low if Display Remaining Toner Error Message in System Settings (from

the Additional Functions screen is set to ‘On’.

Limited Functions Mode

Enables you to temporally limit the use of the fi nishing mode, if a problem frequently occurs

when using the fi nisher mode.

Gamma Value for Remote Scans

Enables you to set the gamma value that is used for scanning color documents into your

computer through the Network Scan function.

Displayed only if an optional fi nisher is attached.

Displayed only if the optional Feeder (DADF-L1) (standard-equipped for the Color
imageRUNNER C3480i/C3080i) is attached.

Shutdown Mode

Enables you to set the machine to cancel jobs in progress and restrict further access to the

hard disk when you turn the machine OFF with the main power switch.

Data Compression Ratio for Remote Scans

Enables you to set the compression ratio for remote scanning.
