Methods to Reduce Costs
Canon USA strongly recommends that dealers consider introducing
imageWARE Remote and the Content Delivery System as methods to
increase a technician’s performance and reduce labor costs. imageWARE
Remote is a service support tool that can remotely monitor machine issues
and usage through the Internet.
imageWARE Remote provides you with the following benefits:
•
Investigate machine issues by monitoring the details of, for example, a
paper jam error, before visiting the customer site. This enables the
service technician to visit the customer with the necessary parts in
advance, thereby, reducing the number of times the service technician
may have to revisit the site due to the unavailability of service parts.
•
Simple issues can be resolved over the phone, which reduces the need
for an on-site service visit.
•
Firmware downloads and installation via the CDS can be performed,
which reduces the need for an on-site firmware upgrade.
