E. Prerequisites
1. Online
The prerequisite for the online Technical Training Program is
imageRUNNER Connectivity Quest. Since this is a MEAP enabled
device, it is recommended that the technician take the MEAP
eLearning course. The MEAP eLearning course can be found in the
eLearning Center.
2. Classroom
For those technicians that have already completed imageRUNNER
Connectivity Quest, the only prerequisite will be to complete the
online portion of the imageRUNNER 6570 Series Technical Training
Program. The goal behind this is to leverage the advantages of the
eLearning Center to compliment the classroom training approach
and deliver training in the most effective way possible.

Online Course:
During the online portion of this training program the student will be lead
though approximately eight (8) hours of training. Items covered include:

Key Operations and Service Mode Functions
•
The Main Controller
•
Original and Laser Exposure
•
Image Formation and Fixing
•
Accessories
•
Connectivity and the License Management System
Classroom Course:
The imageRUNNER 6570 Series Technical Training Course consists of
five (5) days of instructor-led lectures, hands-on lab exercises, and written
examinations. The student-to-equipment ratio is optimized for the most
effective learning environment.
The classroom portion is comprised of hands-on real world scenario labs
and practical exercises that are designed to enhance the technician’s
ability to apply the information learned during the online portion of the
training program. This advanced learning technique will serve to reinforce
the knowledge gained during the online portion of the training. This style of
training program is designed to achieve the highest level of technical
competence and improve customer satisfaction through better first call
resolution.
