Q. Soft Counter
The imagePRESS C7010VPS Series uses soft counters to track its functional
copy use. The operator panel can display up to eight (8) counters in the
Maintenance Mode (when the Maintenance button on the operator panel is
pressed). By default, the imagePRESS C7011VPS/C6011VPS/C6011S
displays six (6) counters on the counter status check screen.
The Maintenance Mode screen shows two types of counters; Billing counters
and Day counters. Billing counters represent the total number of prints that
have been made since the machine was installed and cannot be reset. The
Day counters increment in the same way as the billing counters except that
day counters can be reset to zero (0) at any time (i.e., between jobs, daily or
between meter readings).
The table below indicates the default counter configurations of the
imagePRESS C7011VPS Series in maintenance mode.
Refer to the imagePRESS C7011VPS/C6011VPS/C6011S Series Service
Manual for complete details on the Soft Counter configurations.
