Installing and Removing the Battery and Card

Close the cover.

Press the cover until it snaps shut.

When you set the power to <

>, the

number of possible shots (p.26) will be
displayed on the LCD monitor.

Set the power to <

Open the cover.

Make sure the LCD monitor and
Power/access lamp are off, then open
the cover.

] is displayed, close the

cover.

Remove the battery.

1. Press the battery release lever as
shown by the arrow. 2. Remove the
battery.

To prevent short circuiting of the battery
contacts, be sure to attach the protective
cover (provided, p.20) to the battery.

Remove the card.

Gently push in the card, then let go to
eject it.

Pull the card straight out.

Close the cover.

Press the cover until it snaps shut.
