The lighting of the
control panel does not
work.
y
Check that the batteries are properly installed
or are not empty.
y
Check that the ON/OFF button of the battery
compartment has been activated.
y
Check that the terminals of the battery
compartment are properly connected.
y
Check that the wires of the electrical circuit
are in good condition and properly connected.
y
Change the direction of the batteries or put in new
batteries.
y
Set the button to the “ON” position.
y
Connect the two terminals.
y
Change the wires or connect the disconnected or
initially misplaced wires.
There is a continuous
ignitor discharge.
y
Check that the knobs are not in an open
position between the closed and MAX
positions.
y
Place all the knobs in the “O” position or between
the MAX and MINI positions.
There is ignitor
discharge - all of the
knobs are in closed
position or between
the Max and Mini
positions.
y
Check the cables and position of the tap cam.
y
Contact the After Sales Service.
There is no ignitor
discharge.
y
Check that the battery has been properly
installed (the + towards the cap).
y
Check that the wires of the electrical circuit are
in good condition and connected.
y
Check that you keep the knob in the Ignition
position for sufficient time.
y
Check that the ground wire is connected.
y
Change the direction of the batteries.
y
Reverse the wires and reconnect if necessary.
y
Keep the knob in the ignition position for a longer
time.
y
Contact the After Sales Service.
Difficulty in lighting up
y
Check that the regulator matches the type of
gas and recommended pressure.
y
Check that the regulator is not in safe mode.
y
Check that the regulator and hose are in good
condition.
y
Check that the cylinder is not empty or almost
empty.
y
Change the regulator if it does not match.
y
Reset the regulator.
y
Replace the hose and/or regulator if they are in
poor condition.
y
Change the cylinder if necessary.
Difficulty in lighting up
The flames are not
stable when a new
cylinder is used.
y
Possible presence of air in the cylinder and
thus in the gas circuit.
y
Let the barbecue work and the problem will
disappear.
The burner will not
light.
y
Check that the hose, injector, tap, venturi tube
and burner holes are not clogged.
y
Check that the burner outlet properly covers
the injector.
y
Blow in the burner.
y
Clean the Venturi tube.
y
Reposition the burner outlet.
The burner does not
burn smoothly or goes
out.
y
Check that there is sufficient gas in the
cylinder.
y
Change the gas cylinder.
Large plume of flame
on the burner surface
y
The burner outlet may be blocked (spider
webs,...) or the injector holder is improperly
positioned in the outlet.
y
Clean the Venturi tube and/or reposition the burner.
Flame at the injector
y
Check that the cylinder is not almost empty.
y
Change the cylinder.
y
Contact the After Sales Service.
The thermometer
does not show
a consistent
temperature.
y
Change the thermometer.
Insufficient cooking
temperature
y
Check that the injector or Venturi tube is not
blocked (spider webs...).
y
Clean the Venturi tube.
The grease ignites in
an abnormal manner.
y
Check that grease has not accumulated on
the grease tray and/or burner protection.
y
Reduce the gas flow of the barbecue.
y
Clean the grease tray and/or burner protection.
