6.5 Sensor Setup

1. Wire the sensor to the DB9F-TERM, a +12Vdc power supply, and a PC

serial port (or USB) as shown in Table 7-1 Connection to Datalogger and
DB9F-TERM (Section 7.3).

2. Start terminal program, connect to CS725, and set internal parameters

The following example uses HyperTerminal for the terminal software.

Open HyperTerminal > File > New Connection

When the following appears, enter CS725 for the Name:

Click OK

The following screen will appear. Choose the correct COM port, which your

computer is using. Click OK
