Radio
The Radio option allows the customer to select an alternative radio unit,
speakers, or antenna, which meets their quality, feature, and cost
expectations. Because of this variation, the functioning of every system
will vary. Refer to the radio owner’s manual on operation of the radio.
Following are some of the more common set-ups:
The power shut-off switch for the radio is the same as the TV power
shut-off switch.
Kitchen and Cabin Speakers:
With A-B Switch:
Use the A-B switch to select which
speakers are functioning.
Without A-B Switch:
Use the fader control on the radio to
vary the output of the cabin (front) and kitchen (rear) speakers.
Radio with TV:
The headphone output of the TV is connected to the AUX
input on the radio. Set the radio to the AUX input to hear the TV.
Adjust the TV’s volume with a combination of the TV’s and
radio’s volume controls.
Power Antenna:
If you have a power extension antenna, there is a separate
antenna switch. This switch allows you to disable the power
antenna if you are using the radio to play MP3’s, CD’s or the TV.
The Power Antenna will extend when you turn ON the radio. It
will retract automatically when you turn OFF the radio, turn OFF
the antenna switch, or turn OFF the TV/Radio power shut-off
switch.
Ipod’s, MP3’s, etc...
Most radios have a headphone jack on the front of the unit.
This is the AUX Input. Plug a patch cable into your player
and the AUX input and set the radio source to AUX.
