Fan speed control
The speed of th e fan is controlled by th e fan speed control
dial as shown above. Turning th e dial clockwise increases
th e speed of th e fan and more solid black bars will be shown
on th e fan speed indicator. Please note th at th ere is a short
delay between turning th e dial and th e fan speed increasing
or decreasing. If using th e optional duct kit, th e switch on th e
back of th e electric box must be set to ducted mode. (Only
use fan speeds in th e
RED range on th e fan speed indicator
for ducted operation).
Mode switch
Top position: ‘fan only’ mode is selected. In ‘fan only’ mode
air circulates, but th ere is no air conditioning.
Centre position: ‘stand by’ mode is selected. The device
remains powered but will not operate.
Bottom position: ‘air conditioning’ (A/C) mode is selected.
There is a six minute delay timer when switching to ‘A/C’
mode from ‘stand by’ or ‘fan only’ modes. Cooling will start
aft er th is delay period.
