QUICK START GUIDE

          

HEALTH AND SAFETY WARNING

As the air conditioner contains electrical and 
rotational equipment, it is recommended that ONLY 
competent persons carry out any work on this type 
of device. 

Isolate electrically before entering machine or 
removing panels.

This appliance can be used by children from 8 years 
and above and persons with reduced physical, 
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience 
and knowledge if they have been given supervision 
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in 
a safe way and understand the hazards involved. 
Children should not play with the appliance. Cleaning 
and user maintenance shall not be made by children 
without supervision.

General safety

• 

This device should only be operated by a competent 
adult who has read and understood th ese instructions.

• 

Never operate th is device if you are ill, feeling tired or 
under th e infl uence of alcohol or drugs.

• 

Never put anyth ing on top of th e device or block th e air 
inlets or outlets.

• 

Make sure th e device is switched off  and unplugged 
aft er use.

• 

Check condition of th e device before use. If device 
is showing signs of damage contact your supplier 
immediately.

Warnings

• 

This device MUST be transported and operated in th e 
upright position at all times.

• 

Do not operate th is device if it has missing, damaged, 
insecure guards or electrical components.

• Ensure 

th e device is sited on fi rm level ground.

• 

Locate away from any possible unauth orised 
interference.

• 

Ensure electrical supplies are of adequate capacity.

• 

The user must not undertake any service or repair of 
th e device.

• 

Ensure debris cannot be sucked into th e device.

If th ere is any doubt concerning th e device or installation 
consult your supplier.

Health  and safety at work act 1974

Under section 6 of th e above Act, it is th e duty of th e 
manufacturers and suppliers of th e products for use at 
work to ensure, so far it is reasonably practicable, th at such 
products are safe with out risk to health  when properly used 
and to make available to users of such products adequate 
information about th eir safe and proper operation.

Air conditioners should only be used in th e manner and 
purpose for which th ey were intended and in accordance 
with  th e recommendations detailed in th is guide. Our air 
conditioners have been designed, produced and inspected 
with  safety in mind, but th ere are certain basic precautions 
which should be taken by th e user and in particular attention 
is drawn to th e safety precaution in th is leafl et.

It is imperative, th erefore, th at all persons who may make 
use of th e device have all th e information and instructions 
th ey require to ensure th at th ey are fully aware of any 
hazards, and th at th ey know both  th e purpose and th e 
correct manner of th e use of th e device.
