10. Diagnostic Ports

11. Status Display
After Paragon-neo power up, an IP address is displayed on the LCD Status Display.
Press the Menu physical button (bottom left, labelled 'Menu') to display the LCD Status Display
menu. Refer to the section on ‘Connecting Your
Paragon-neo
to the Network’ and ‘Directly
Connecting your Computer to Paragon-neo
’ for instructions on setting th
e IP address.
12. USB (J11)
This is for firmware upgrades via a memory stick and can also be used to power any USB
accessories.
13. LAN (J10)
This is for connection to the network or a to a PC/laptop running a browser such as Internet
Explorer, Firefox or Chrome. The connection to the Paragon-neo LAN control port (RJ45) is 1GbE.
14. Reset Switch
Using a pointed instrument, press the RESET button to return the Paragon-neo to its power-on
condition. This resets IP address to factory default.
15(a). Balanced 1PPS and ToD Test Output (J8 RJ48 connector)
Connection to balanced 1pps and ToD test output.
Pins 3 (-) and 6 (+)
