Connecting your Paragon-neo  

You can either connect the Paragon-neo directly to the network or connect directly to a PC/Laptop. 

Connecting to the Network 

1.

 

First of all, configure your computer. The exact instructions depend on your laptop/PC operating 
system and are described in the section below, 

Configuring Your Computer

2.

 

Connect your Network to the 

LAN

 port (J9) on the front panel of Paragon-neo. 

3.

 

Connect the AC power cord to the rear-panel AC power input and plug into an AC outlet. 

4.

 

Use Paragon-neo

’s rear panel power switch, marked 

1/0, to switch ON the Paragon-neo. 

5.

 

Wait for the Paragon-neo to power up and an IP address is displayed on the LCD Status 
Display. 

6.

 

Press the Menu physical button (bottom left, labelled 'Menu') to display the LCD Status Display 
menu. 

7.

 

Select the IP menu by pressing the 'Enter' button. This is the centre physical button on the LCD 

Status Display’s 

keypad. 

8.

 

The IP address shown on the display is factory-set. You can alter this to meet your networking 
needs. 

9.

 

In the IP Editor menu, select DHCP or Static depending on your network configuration by 
pressing the 'Enter' button to clear or set the checkbox as required 

 

Connecting your Computer to Paragon-neo  

1.

 

First of all, configure your computer. The exact instructions depend on your laptop/PC operating 
system and are described in the section below,

Connect your 

laptop/PC

 to the 

LAN

 port (J10) on the front panel of Paragon-neo. 

 

3.

 

Connect the AC power cord to the rear-panel AC power input and plug into an AC outlet. 

4.

 

Important: 

Ensure your 

laptop/PC

 is powered-up and connected to the 

LAN

 port (J10) on 

the front panel of Paragon-neo before switching on the Paragon-neo. 

5.

 

Use Paragon-neo

’s rear panel power switch, marked 1/0, to switch 

ON the Paragon-neo. 

6.

 

Wait for the Paragon-neo to power up and an IP address is displayed on the LCD Status 
Display. 

7.

 

Open your 

laptop/PC

 browser and enter the Paragon-neo IP address into the address bar of 

your browser.
