remove the terminal area cover from Module A. (Taking off the terminal area
cover – see MES Module A operating instructions).
Insert the plastic rivet
On the left side (rear / top, between the first and second cooling fin) of Module
B there is a bore-hole (4 mm) (fig. 1 pos 2). The Module A has a bore-hole on
the other side of the same size. The Modules are fixed together using the plastic
rivet provided.
Feed the plastic rivet between the cooling fins through the bore-holes in the
housing of Module A and B. Push the rivet head firmly against the surface until
the plastic rivet spreads and the rivet head rests on the surface. To do this it is
recommended to use a suitable flat screwdriver or small pliers.
Lastly fasten the device with the four fastening screws provided.
Removing the cover of the terminal area

The terminal area cover (fig 1 pos. 5) must be removed in order to exchange
one of the flat plug-in fuses or in order to connect or disconnect cables. Press
the lock, 1 (fig. 1 pos 7) inwards until it unlatches. Lift up the terminal area
cover until it is possible to pull it out forwards. Withdraw the terminal area
cover.
The terminal area cover is replaced by reversing these steps. Ensure that the
pegs of the terminal area cover are pushed into the slots in the rear housing
cover, and that the lock at the front has engaged.
