Caution: Remove any covering before use. Check the heater, the power cord, and the power plug for
damages. Do not use the heater if there are any visible signs of damage.
1.
Fix both stands to the heater with the four screws.
2.
Position the heater on a firm and absolutely level underground observing the spacing shown in fig. 2 on
the left flap-out-page.
Activate the remote control before first use (see section III).
3.
Plug the appliance to a suitable 220-240 V~50-60 Hz socket with protective earth (for Switzerland only
use heater 10622893).
4.
Switch the main switch to I (standby/on). The display shows the actual room temperature and the set
target temperature
. Operate the heater following section “IV. Temperature setting”.
5.
Switch the main switch to 0 (off) after use.
6.
Unplug the heater after switching the main switch off .

IV.
Temperature setting
1.
Remove the plastic strip from the battery compartment before first use.
2.
Push the latch and remove the battery compartment from the remote control to change the battery.
3.
Place a 3 V CR2025 (Lithium) battery with
+
(plus pole) facing upwards into the battery compartment.
Close the compartment.
III.
Activate/change the battery of the remote control
1.
Use the buttons on the heater or the remote control to set the heater. Direct the remote control towards
the heater. There must not be any obstacles between the remote control and the heater.
2.
Switch on the heater by pressing button . The display lights up.
3.
Use button to select an appropriate heating level (700 W, 1300 W, 2000 W, frost protection ).
The heater heats at the set heating level (700 W, 1300 W, 2000 W) as long as the actual temperature is
below the set target temperature. The heating element is switched off when reaching the target tempera-
ture. If the room temperature falls below the target temperature the heater starts again automatically. In
frost protection mode the heater heats with 700 W, if the temperature falls below 5 °C.

Increase or reduce the target temperature by pressing buttons and . You may set a target tempera-
ture of 5 to 37 °C.
5.
Press button to switch on the fan for a faster distribution of warm air. The display shows a fan icon.
Press button again to switch off the fan. The fan does not work in frost protection mode.
6.
Pushing the timer button on the heater or on the remote control activates the timer and switches the
heater off within one hour. Each further push of button delays the switch-off for another hour. The
display shows the time left until switch-off. You can set the timer only in steps of whole hours. To switch
the heater into standby before the timer is due, press .
7.
Press button to toggle between temperature display in °C and °F.
