TO CONFIGURE THE COMPUTER ETHERNET 1 INTERFACE FOR COMMUNICATION WITH
THE TRANSCEIVER MAINT PORT

On the computer, click
Start
,
Control Panel
,
Network Connections
, and then
Local Area Connection
.
There will be one
Local Area Connection
icon for each Ethernet port on the computer. Click the
Local Area
Connection
icon that corresponds to the first Ethernet port.

The
Local Area Network Connection Status
window opens. Click
Properties
and the
Local Area Connection
Properties
window for the first Ethernet connection opens.

On the
General
tab, click on
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
to select it (you may have to scroll down in the items list to
see it—do not remove the check mark), and then click
Properties
