Management Console

After the Initial Configuration, the user should be able to connect a web browser
to the WebMux™. The web browser does all of the WebMux™ management.
The following sections explain each of the easy to use management console
screens.

Login

Start Login Page:

•

Start a web browser from your management workstation.

•

Set URL to

https://webmuxip:webmuxport/cgi-bin/login

o

webmuxip

is the IP address of the WebMux™ on the server LAN.

o

webmuxport

is the management port address of the WebMux™.

The default ports are 24 for an unsecured connection, and 35 for
the secured connection. Use http instead of https on the URL line if
you decide to use port 24 for unsecured communications. (The port
number can be changed per your specification, under “setup” in
“main management console” section).

The following login page will appear.

NOTE:

In order to use a browser to manage the WebMux™, the browser must be set to accept

all cookies.
