Enable or disable the stand-by function by proceeding as follows:
1. with the machine switched off, press and hold the dispensing button and simultane-
ously turn on the machine with the 0/1 switch located under the tank. The edge of
the button will flash slowly.
2. to change mode press the dispense button. The button will start flashing quickly. To
confirm deactivation of stand-by, switch off the machine again with the switch under
the tank. When powered back on, a quick flash will indicate that the operation was
successful.
To return to home mode, repeat the power operation and press the dispensing button, re-
membering the flashing modes. Slow flashing indicates home mode (stand-by active) while
fast flashing, professional mode (stand-by disabled).
8. Coffee dispensing
ATTENTION:
only pods with a diameter of 44 mm should be inserted into the pod compartment.
Single-dose pods are designed to dispense only one coffee/product. Do not reuse
them after use. Inserting 2 or more pods causes the machine to malfunction.
The following operations must be carried out in sequence:
1. turn the closing lever from the bottom upwards and insert the pod into the pod-holder
compartment located at the extraction chamber (see fig. 8-A);
2. turn the closing lever downwards, to the point where it locks, signalled by a click;
3. place the cup/glass under the coffee dispensing spout (see fig. 8-B);
4. in any case check that the indicator light on the button is steady;
