4.1
Waveform
The FAST-Bi-1K5 is able to act as a waveform generator both in C.C. and C.V.
regulation modes. The waveform is stored internally in a point-by-point list; the
maximum number of points of the waveform and the sampling period (of the waveform
execution) can be defined by the user, giving flexibility to the waveform generator
applicability. The minimum time interval for the waveform execution period is limited
to 0.1 ms = 100 µs, resulting in an output waveform update rate of 10 kHz. In order to
correctly execute the output waveform, it is necessary to properly tune the PID regulator
parameters of the PS for the specific load in use.
