IBM Token Ring Adapter Configuration
1. Make sure the card is installed, then insert Auto 16/4 Token Ring
ISA Adapter Diagnostic & Configuration Program disk into
drive A and press (simultaneously)
[Ctrl] [Alt [Del] .
2. When the screen displays Starting PC-DOS , press [F5] .
3. At the A:> prompt, type autocfg /v and press [Enter]. (If you want
to display a screen listing all possible options, type autocfg
[Enter] .)
4. The current (or default) configuration of each installed IBM
card will be displayed. Make the necessary change(s) by
selecting a card, then typing
autocfg followed by as many of the
following switches as necessary.

* Autosense will automatically read and set the ring speed for each
card except the first card in the ring. For the first card in the ring,
set Autosense to
O FF , and configure a Data Rate. For all other
IBM Token Ring cards (that are software-configurable), set
Autosense to
ON and leave the Data Rate at the default setting.
For example, if changes must be made to make the state Active,
disable RPL, and set the Interrupt to 10, type
autocfg /c 1
