The size displayed for Hard Disk 1 is 201MB for hard
drives shipped from Cabletron previous to December 1,
997. The size of the drive is actually much larger than dis-
played; however, an FRX6000 requires less space, and
configuring the BIOS as shown reduces disk access time.
12. Select
Fixed Disks
from the Basic Options list at the left. When
prompted, specify
Onboard IDE Controller
as
On
, then at the next
screen configure the hard disk as
Type 46
, and enter the asso-
ciated values from Table 2-1 (on page 2-18 ).
13. When everything is correctly configured (see the complete setup
in Chapter 2 ), press
[Esc]
at the screen in Figure 3-11 to save the
setup and boot the node.
Installation is now complete. Go to Appendix C for instructions on
installing FRX6000 software.
