PROGRAM LICENSE AGREEMENT
IMPO RTANT: TH IS LICENSE APPLIES FOR USE OF PRODUCT IN THE UNITED
STATES O F AMERICA AND BY UNI TED STATES OF AMERICA
GOVERNMENT END USERS.
BEFORE OPENING O R UTI LIZING THE ENCLOSED PRODUCT,
CAREFULLY READ THIS LICENSE AG REEMENT.
This document i s an agreement (“Agreement”) between You, the end user, and Cabletron Syst ems
Sales and Service, Inc. (“Cabl etron”) t hat sets forth your right s and obli gati ons with respect to the
Cablet ron software program (“Program”) in the package. The Program m ay be contained in fi rm ware,
chi ps or ot her medi a. UTILIZING THE ENCLOSED PRODUCT, YOU ARE AGREEING TO
BECOME BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, WHICH INCLUDES THE
LICENSE AND THE LIMITATION OF WARRANTY AND DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY. IF
YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, RETURN THE UNOPENED
PRODUCT TO CABLETRON OR YOUR DEALER, IF ANY, WITHIN TEN (10) DAYS
FOLLOWING THE DATE OF RECEIPT FOR A FULL REFUND.

1. LICENSE. You have the right to use onl y the one (1) copy of the Program provi ded in t his
package subject to the terms and condi tions of this Li cense Agreement.
You may not copy, reproduce or transmit any part of the Program except as permit ted by the
Copyright Act of t he United St ates or as authorized in writing by Cabletron.
2. OTH ER RESTRICTIONS. You may not reverse engi neer, decompile, or di sassemble the
Program.
3. APPLICABLE LAW. This Li cense Agreement shall be interpret ed and governed under the
laws and in the state and federal courts of New Hampshire. You accept the personal jurisdiction and
venue of the New Hampshire courts.
4. EXPORT REQUIREMENTS. You underst and that Cabletron and its Affi liates are subject to
regulation by agencies of t he U.S. Governm ent, i ncludi ng the U.S. Department of Comm erce, which
prohi bit export or diversi on of certain technical product s t o certain countries, unl ess a li cense to export
the product is obtained from the U.S. Government or an exception from obtaining such li cense may be
relied upon by the exporting party.
If the Program is exported from the Uni ted Stat es pursuant to the License Except ion CIV under
the U.S. Export Admi nistrat ion Regulat ions, You agree that You are a civil end user of the Program
and agree that You wil l use the Program for civil end uses only and not for mil itary purposes .
