4. Slide a cardboard core (

) onto the ribbon take up hub (

).  Clamp the

core by rotating the knurled knob (

5. Feed the transfer ribbon along the path as shown in figure 7l and attach it

to the cardboard core (

) using a piece of tape or a label.

6. Turn the ribbon take up hub (

) counter-clockwise until the ribbon is taut

and without any wrinkles.

) counter-clockwise until it stops, thereby

locking the printhead into position.
