Isolate supply to light fitting 

 

Remove lamp 

Batten installation 

 

Remove gear tray cover 

 

Remove Ø20mm knockout or make a Ø20mm 
hole in gear tray or luminaire body. 

 

Insert supplied Ø20mm grommet into hole. 

 

Feed cable through end-cap knockout or between 
gear tray and housing of luminaire. 

 

Connect the Neutral. 

 

Disconnect the Live to the ballast. 

 

Using the supplied terminal block, connect the 
Live switched output (Black) from detector to the 
Live feed of the ballast. 

 

Ensure that the detector wired-up according to 
wiring diagrams on page 6. 

 

Clip detector to tube.
