1 SAFETY
1.1 Operational Safety Hazards
This equine cupping machine is built ac-cording to
recognized and authorized technical and safety
standards. It should be noted however, that
operation of the unit can still lead to dangers and
damages should the unit not be installed or operat-
ed properly and according to its intended use.
Misuse or improper use of the unit can:
endanger or injure the body and life of the
person(s) operating the unit
endanger or injure other people
endanger or injure the unit system and equipment
endanger or injure other valuables
Any person(s) setting up, installing, operat-ing,
maintaining or repairing the unit must:
be qualified and authorized
be mentally and physically competent
heed the user's manual
The unit should only be used:
for its intended purposes
if in perfect and safe working condition.
If for any reason, the safety of the unit and its
equipment should be interfered with or jeopardized,
the electrical plug should be pulled, no exceptions.
For C300, remove the battery.

Before each use, inspect the unit, the unit electrical
plug, cable, and exten-sion cord for any signs of
wear, aging or damage
▪
Keep unit cord away from heat, oil and sharp
objects or edges
▪
DO NOT throw old unit batteries into fire or
household garbage. Battery power is toxic for the
environment and requires special disposal. Please
refer to your distributor
▪
Keep battery charger away from rain and moisture.
Any exposure to water will cause a high risk for
electrocution
▪
Please pay special attention to the symbols on the
battery charger’s rating plate
▪
Safety while operating the unit and equipment is
only guaranteed by read-ing and yielding to the
owner’s manual and operating booklet
1.2 Safety Instructions
The warning labels in this user's manu-al are to make
aware of the potential hazards caused by operating
the unit.
1.3 Intended Use

To be used only inside rooms with dry conditions

To be used only in temperatures rang-ing from
+5°C (+41°F) to +30°C (+86°F)
▪
To be used only in air conditions with a moisture
percentage of < 80 %
▪
For all body areas, unit should be set to an average
pressure setting of 3 PSI; in the hip and pelvic area
the area pres-sure can be set up to 10 PSI
▪
DO NOT exceed the maximum pres-sure setting of
13 PSI
▪
In an ambient atmosphere
▪
Always make sure the unit is set on level, solid
ground
▪
DO NOT cover air filter! Covering the air filter can
lead to unit damage
▪
Always make sure to operate unit in an explosive-
free surrounding
Incorrect or non-intended usage of the unit and /or the
usage of the unit in surroundings or conditions which do
not comply to the above safety requirements eliminates
the safety of the unit and its operation.
Important!
The safe and proper operation of the unit can be assured
by:

Following all safety instructions in this user's manual
and
▪
Properly maintaining the machine ac-cording to this
user's manual
▪
Due to safety reasons, the rebuilding or reconstructing
of the unit is strictly forbid-den!
1.4 Authorized User(s)

Person(s) operating the unit MUST:
▪
be at least 18 years of age
▪
ensure a safe and injury-free working environment and
be thoroughly edu-cated in the operation of the unit, its
system, and its intended use
▪
have studied and understood the user's manual,
especially the safety instruc-tions and hazard
warnings, and provid-ed a signature confirming the
studying and understanding of the user's manual and
its contents
▪
have the health and bodily ability needed to correctly
and safely operate the unit and its equipment The per-
son(s) operating or working with the unit holds all
responsibility.
