Summary
C.A.M.P. Gyro3 is a device designed to connect two, three or four elements between each other, which need

standard. By way of non-exhaustive example, some applications are: multi-anchorage with self-orientable points,
multiple harness connections, anti-twist function for lanyards, cross-hauling operations, tyrolean traverses, rescue
operations. This product is intended for use to protect and prevent against the risk of falling from a height in rescue
operations, in work at a height, in the practice of mountaineering, rock-climbing and other vertical sports that use
similar techniques.
Use
Gyro3 must be connected to other elements of the system through compatible connectors inserted in the
attachment holes

for mountaineering use; in the case of permanent connections, select by preference quick links (Class Q). Avoid
transverse stresses on the connectors (

). Use only C.A.M.P. anti-rotation inserts. Alternatively, it is possible to directly connect a rope (EN 1891 or EN
892) or webbing (EN 565) knotted inside the attachment holes [2a] , in this case removing the anti-rotation insert

). The maximum applicable load (WLL) is 300 kg (~3 kN). The breaking load (MBL) is 26 kN. The maximum

). Prevent Gyro3 from hitting uneven surfaces or sharp edges that
could compromise its strength. (

string-Gyro3-absorber-connector system must never exceed 2 m and must be connected to the attachment element
(A) of a EN 361 full body harness. Use adequate rescue equipment and provide adequate training for the work crew

CHECKING AND MAINTENANCE
Check the correct rotation of the swivel balls [2] at each use in case of dirt, clean with a blast of compressed air and/
or immerse in fresh water and subsequently dry in a ventilated environment. After cleaning, the mechanism can be
lubricated. Cleaning and lubrication are recommended after each use in a marine environment.
