Operator responsibilities
You have purchased a product that is durable and
easy to service.
However, all technical equipment requires regular
servicing in order to guarantee optimal functionality.
The operator must perform a visual check and
backwash the filter to guarantee functionality and
fulfil the warranty conditions.
According to DIN EN 806-5, the filter must be
checked for leaks and dirt every six months and
backwashed at regular intervals, which may depend
on operating conditions but must be no longer than
six months.
Wearing parts must also be replaced within the
prescribed maintenance intervals in order to ensure
functionality and fulfil the warranty conditions.
The BWT after-sales service staff or an installer
authorised by BWT must carry out the following
maintenance work regularly.

Cleaning
Plastic parts must only be cleaned with a soft, damp
cloth; do not use any solvents, detergents or acid
cleaners.
10 Warranty
In the event of a failure during the warranty period,
please contact our Customer Service Department,
quoting the equipment type and the PNR = pro
-
duction number (see technical data or rating plate
on equipment).
Warranty work may only be carried out by our Cus
-
tomer Service Department.
Warranty work by a specialist firm requires the
express consent of our Customer Service Manager.
