7. UTILIZATION AND SERVICE LIFE
7.1 Recommendations on the frequency of filter cartridge/
filter material change

Optimal water is only guaranteed, if the filter cartridge is changed regularly. The
BWT water filtering system is equipped with a manual or electronic exchange
indicator, which indicates when the filter cartridge should be changed. (Operation
see chapter 6).
7.2 Instructions on interruption of use

If use is interrupted, please keep the water filtering system together with the
cartridge in the fridge.

In case of nterruption of use of more than two days (weekends), pour out the first
filling and refill the water filter.

After a downtime of more than 2 weeks, replace the filter cartridge (see chapter
6.1).
8. CARE & CLEANING OF THE BWT WATER FILTERING SYSTEM

At each change of the filter cartridge, please clean the BWT water filtering system
with mild soapy water and rinse it thoroughly with warm water. Do not use any
abrasive cleaning agents or scrubbing sponges, as scratch marks could be left on
the water filtering system. Jug and funnel can be washed in the dishwasher.

During use of the BWT water filtering system lime stains may occur in particular
on the lid of the BWT water filtering system through dried water drops. The lime
stains can be removed with a commercially available decalcification agent.

The lid including the „Easy-Control“ may not be cleaned in the dishwasher.
