Putting into operation:
Press the push button for 5 seconds. The indication then
automatically adjusts to „0“ and the „Easy-Control“ is now
ready for operation.
Counting function:
Each fi lling of the BWT water fi ltering system is counted by
means of the „Easy Control“.
Filter cartridge change:
The display starts fl ashing if either the maximum number
of fi llings or the maximum period of use is exceeded (de-
pending on what happens fi rst). Now a change of the fi lter
cartridge becomes necessary. After inserting the cartridge,
please keep the push button pressed for 5 seconds. The coun-
ter then automatically adjusts to „0“.
Pause function:
If you want to interrupt the use of the fi lter (e.g. at weekends),
you can use the pause function. Empty the jug and leave the
cartridge in the system. Press the push button for 3 times. The
display then automatically adjusts to „P“ (pause). The time as
well as the fi lling quantity is stopped. Please keep the water
fi ltering system together with cartridge in the fridge. After
your return activate your „Easy-Control“ by refi lling or by
pressing the push button for three times. The stored counter
reading is shown in the display. Please discard the fi rst fi lling
after the pause. At active pause function the display continu-
es indication until the pause is fi nished.
Safety function:
In order to guarantee correct counting, the „Easy-Control“,
after each fl ling, makes a counting pause of 15 seconds.
Even if during this time the „Easy fi ll“ is opened for several
times, recording of the fi llings is correct.
