6.2 Electronic exchange indicator „Easy Control“
The „Easy-Control“ counts the number of
fillings and the service life and reminds
you of the filter cartridge change by
flashing in the display. If the filter
cartridge is not changed, the „Easy-
Control“ counts the following fillings.
At interruptions of use the time can
be stopped and restarted when use is
continued. By filling or by pressing the
„Easy Control“ button once, the current
number of fillings is shown.
In the electronic exchange indicator an
average filter capacity is programmed
depending on the BWT water filtering
system used:

BWT water filtering system with
universal (round) filter cartridge:
100 litres

BWT water filtering system with lon -
glife (oval) filter cartridge: 120 litres

Please observe that the „Easy-Control“ indicates the number of fillings (the
volume of the funnel varies depending on the BWT water filtering system)
and not the filtered number of litres. See the above table.
A change of the filter cartridge should be carried out at the latest after
4 weeks, also if the capacity (number of fillings) of the filter cartridge has
not yet been reached. This is indicated by flashing of the „Easy Control“
display.
The „Easy-Control“ is designed for a service life of 3.5 years.
